Exactly two months from today, fans will finally get to revisit the magical world of Westeros whenGame of Thronesdebuts its long-awaitedSeason 6. The producers and network have been more cryptic than usual in promoting the show, offering no official plot details or even confirming new cast members yet, despite a number of casting reports and photos from the set. Earlier today, anew posterdebuted, which surprised many fans since it featured the face of Robb Stark (Richard Madden), who was brutally killed during the infamous Red Wedding inSeason 3. As it turns out, that one-sheet was just the tip of the iceberg, sinceHBOhas debuted a slew of new posters featuring characters from both Westeros' past and present.

Earlier this month, the network released thefirst trailer, which showcased the infamous Hall of Faces at the House of Black and White. The Faceless Men use these faces, combined with an array of magical spells, to camouflage themselves while performing important missions. The trailer showcased a number of faces from deceased characters like Ned Stark (Sean Bean), Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) andJon Snow(Kit Harington), all of whom appear on these new posters as well. Of course, their appearances in this setting weren’t too surprising, since we knew they were already dead.

However, the trailer ended on a rather shocking note, showing the faces of numerous pivotal characters who were still alive, such as Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage),Cersei Lannister(Lena Headey), Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau),Sansa Stark(Sophie Turner), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), just to name a few. Today’s posters offer a close-up look at those aforementioned characters, plus a few more faces in the Hall, such as Melisandre (Carice van Houten), Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju), Nymeria Sand (Jessica Henwick), Daario Naharis (Michiel Huisman), all of whom are still alive on the show. There are even a few more deceased characters like Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal) and Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy).

What does this all mean? Will all of these major characters meet their demise inSeason 6? It’s interesting that they’re paired with character who have long since passed, which could be an indicator that one of the Faceless Men, perhaps Jaquen H’Gar (Tom Wlaschiha), could use any of these faces to go out into Westeros. Or it could be all a ruse, to get fans thinking which characters may live, and which may perish when the show returns.
