“I’ve seen a bunch of fan-casting for this Batman thing [“The Brave & The Bold”] and that’s very interesting to me, I love Batman. That would be a dream, for sure. But we’ll see what happens, I’m built for it.

Set to be directed byItandThe Flashdirector Andy Muschietti,The Brave and the Boldwill introduce audiences to another version of the DC icon alongside Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, with the DCU movie adding Damian Wayne’s version of Robin to proceedings. The father/son dynamic between Bruce and Damian will certainly be something new for audiences, and while Sklenar is hoping he will be the one chosen to don the cape and cowl, it could besome time before we see the rebooted Batmanin live-action on the big screen.

Another role that Brandon Skelnar finds his name next to is that of Richard Rider, AKA Nova, who will (hopefully) soon lead his own series as part of the MCU. The series, which has faced a series of delays, has nowtaken a major step forwardand appointed Ed Bernero as writer and showrunner. Asked about the rumors surrounding his attachment to the Marvel series, Sklenar replied…
“Yeah, I heard about that. It was news to me. I think I was supposed to meet with [Marvel Studios/Marvel Television] at some point here…with [Kevin] Feige. We’ll see that would be cool."
The word Nova should be familiar to MCU fans, with the Nova Corps. having played a part in theGuardians of the Galaxymovies.
