Former child starYano Anaya, famous for his role in the classic holiday filmA Christmas Story, is no longer welcome at the Parker family home. In the beloved movie, released in 1983, Anaya played Grover Dill, one of two bullies who tormented Ralphie Parker (Peter Billingsley) alongside Scut Farkus (Zack Ward). Anaya, Billingsley, and Ward all appear in the new legacy sequel,A Christmas Story Christmas, which premiered on HBO Max earlier this month.
But after nearly 40 years of an association withA Christmas Story, Anaya has officially been banned from the iconic house in Cleveland that now serves as a tourist attraction for fans. In a video shared byTMZ, Anaya can be seen seated on the steps of the house interacting withA Christmas Storyfans when the property’s owner, Brian Jones, suddenly appears. Clearly very angry to see Anaya, Jones goes off on the former child star with an obscenity-laden rant, ordering him to leave the home and to never return.

You can watch the video below.
“Get the f*** out! Leave, now,” Jones can be heard saying in the video. “Get away from my property. Don’t ever come here again. Never, ever again! Leave now!”
Anaya complies and steps away from the home, but the actor appears to be taken off guard by the confrontation, attempting to talk things through with Jones. All the while, Jones is accusing Anaya of being a “scammer,” unhappy with theChristmas Storystar allegedly asking for donations to “scam” people.
“You are such a scammer,” Jones says to Anaya. “You’re trying to get people to donate for stuff? What is wrong with you?”
He adds, “You know how much you fed me over? You have no fing idea! You are such a piece of sh*t!”
“Why don’t you talk to me about it and we can fix it,” Anaya pleads to no avail as Jones storms off.

Yano Anaya Was Trying to Purchase the House With Other Cast Members
It seems most likely that this all stems from Anaya’s recent comments about buying the house. It was recently reported that the property was going up for sale, and soon after, Anaya claimed he wasteaming up with other cast membersfromA Christmas Storyhoping to raise the funds to purchase the home. Anaya didn’t say which other cast members he’s spoken with, though he told TMZ that it “only makes sense to have the cast run the show.” The actor expressed concern that another potential buyer may choose not to keep the house open as a tourist attraction.
In any case, given what happened in the above video, chances are Jones won’t be interested in selling the house to Anaya, even if he manages to come up with the $1.5 million that’s wanted for the sale. Meanwhile, you may catch Anaya and other stars from the original movie revisiting their classic roles in the new filmA Christmas Story Christmason HBO Max.
