Adventure Timeis set to usher in a fresh restart as the series' famous female counterparts, Fionna and Cake, prepare to embark on adventures of their own. Originally the brainchild of an animator from theAdventure Timeteam, the characters first gained traction online before they were incorporated into the show in its third season. As variants of Finn and Jake, Fionna and Cake became recurring faces throughout the series until its conclusion. Now, the gal duo will be stepping out from the shadow of Finn and Jake and into the limelight with their own series.
