A clever Fortnite player has recreated theAvengers: Endgame trailerand it’s pretty good. The trailer is nearly shot-for-shot and it uses the audio from the original trailer. Making it even more impressive is the fact that it was all edited together on an iPhone with the iMovie application. This is definitely one of the more impressive trailer recreations to hit the internet in recent years, which may have to do with the current Fortnite craze that has taken over the gaming world.
Reddit user TheRedTomatoHead created theAvengers: Endgametrailer on his phone and it has been getting a pretty enthusiastic response fromFortniteplayers and Marvel Cinematic Universe fans who enjoy seeing a different spin on a trailer that some hardcore fans have watched dozens of times. Mr. TomatoHead didn’t reveal how long it took him to put it all together, but one has to imagine that it took a decent amount of time, especially considering that he was creating it on aniPhone.
For those who may or may not familiar withAvengers: Endgameand Fortnite characters, the cast is: The Visitor - Thanos, The Reaper - Iron Man, Rose Team Leader - Black Widow, Havoc - Captain America, Tomatohead - Hulk, Battlehawk - Thor, Lynx - Nebula, Enforcer - Ronin/ Hawkeye, and Wingman - Antman. The user previously made a trailer forInfinity Warusing the same characters, except for Hawkeye and Ant-Man, and is in the early stages of figuring out aSpider-Man: Far From Home trailerrecreation. He claims to have the perfect Fortnite character to play Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.
Fortnite has become one of the biggest games in history over the years. The original game came out in 2017 with two different game modes and it was very successful. However, it wasn’t until the third game mode, Battle Royale, that everything went crazy. Battle Royale gained over 125 million players in less than a year, creating a cultural phenomenon, which makes thisAvengers: Endgametrailer even more appropriate. It has been reported that Battle Royale generates hundreds of millions dollars every month, which is insane. It has been estimated that the game earned over $2.4 billion in 2018 alone.
Avengers: Endgameprobably won’t end up making $2.4 billion at the box office when it hits theaters in April, but it will undoubtedly hit the $1 billion mark. The Avengers will have to join the Fortnite franchise to start printing their own money and taking over the world one month at a time, selling customThanos and Roninskins.
