Official merchandise often offers major revelations and glimpses at upcoming Marvel projects, and this is again one of those times. Merch forBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverhas seemingly revealed our first look atIronheart, showing off Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams and her Mach-I suit, as well as several of the main players that will lead theBlack Panthersequel.

Revealed by Twitter userTheMCUtimes, the most exciting revelation in the images is undoubtedly Riri Williams, whose firstIronheartsuit will show off her face more than her namesakeIron Man.Wearing simply a pair of goggles (which will surely be hi-tech in some way), the Ironheart suit also seemingly uses a new Arc Reactor. Considering that the now sadly deceased Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has always kept the Arc Reactor technology a closely guarded secret, it seems that Riri will recreate it —a task that will be a testament to her genius.

Aside from giving us our first look at Riri Williams AKA Ironheart, theBlack Panther: Wakanda Forevermerchandise also offers a look at what appears to be Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia and Letitia Wright as Shuri, both of whom will be given new costumes for the MCU sequel. Lastly, Danai Gurira returns as Okoye, looking much the same as she did in the firstBlack Pantherouting.

For those unaware, the character of Riri Williams AKAIronheart, was created in 2016 by writers Brian Michael Bendis, and artist Mike Deodato. A 15-year-old engineering student and certified super-genius, Williams crafts a suit of armor similar to that of Marvel legendIron Man. After hearing of her accomplishment, she is summoned by Tony Stark, who decides that he will endorse her decision to become a superhero.

While details of her standalone series and her appearance inBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverare largely unknown, the upcoming Disney+ series will have to make some changes to her origin. What with Tony Stark being dead and all.

As forBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever, the follow-up will be directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and Dominique Thorne. Plot details remain under wraps, but it has seemingly been confirmed –once again thanks to merchandise– thatBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverwill introduce Namor and Atlantis to the MCU.

“Both Wakanda and Atlantis are hidden civilizations with advanced technology and increased militaristic abilities that decided to separate themselves from the rest of the world for their own safety, and in a way, out of fear,”an alleged logline for the movie reads. “Wakanda feared that their technology would be abused. Atlantis feared that surface dwellers would come and desecrate the mythical city just as they did so many years ago. And yet their fears escalate even further when these two once-hidden nations clash with each other.”

Ironheartwill have six episodes and be released on Disney+ as part of Phase Four of the MCU.Black Panther: Wakanda Foreveris scheduled to be released on June 29, 2025.
