Apple TV+has shared a trailer for its upcoming, action-packed psychological thrillerConstellation, starringNoomi RapaceandJonathan Banks. Created by Peter Harness and directed by Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren, the conspiracy-based space adventure also now has a release date and will make its global debut August 23, 2025 on Apple TV+. The trailer was shared today, and you can watch it above.

Constellationstars Rapace as Jo — an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space — only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.

Created and written by Peter Harness (Wallander, The War of the Worlds, Doctor Who), the series also stars James D’Arcy (Agent Carter, Oppenheimer), Julian Looman (Emily in Paris, The Mallorca Files) William Catlett (A Thousand and One, The Devil You Know), Barbara Sukowa (Voyager, Hannah Ardendt), and Rosie and Davina Coleman as Alice.

Jonathan Banks hasnow said goodbye toBetter Call Saulfollowing the end of the sixth and final season. Thankfully, audiences didn’t have to wait long for the actor to find his next starring role. The veteran actor, who has been playing fan favorite fixer Mike Ehrmantraut since debuting onBreaking Badin 2009, will leadConstellationalongside Noomi Rapace inConstellation, a new series in the works at Apple TV. Details on Banks' role aren’t yet clear, but Apple is confident in the series, giving it an eight-episode order.

This marks the first starring role for Jonathan Banks after his work in theBreaking Badfranchise. Banks came into the franchise by complete accident, as his role was created by the writers on the fly when Bob Odenkirk was unavailable to appear for a scripted scene as Saul Goodman, creating an immediate need for a new character. He quickly became a fan favorite and reprized the role forBetter Call Saulstarting with its first season. Banks is also known for his role in the classic series Wiseguy as well as movies likeAirplane!,48 Hrs., andBeverly Hills Cop.
