With the new year just hours away, many fans are counting down the return of their favorite TV shows, following the holiday hiatus.The CW’sThe FlashandArrowwill return on Tuesday, January 19 and Wednesday, January 20 respectively, and both shows will be joined by yet another superhero series,DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, debuting Thursday, January 21 at 8 PM ET. The network has released a new trailer for this highly-anticipated adventure, which gives us a new look at the unorthodox team assembled by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), to save the world from a horrific threat. We also get a glimpse at the Time Masters, who Rip Hunter visits to ask permission for putting a team together.

Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), serves as the show’s main villain, who fans first saw in theArrowandThe Flashcrossover event that aired earlier this month on The CW.Stephanie Corneliussenhas also signed on to play theDC Comicscharacter Valentina Vostok, a.k.a. Negative Woman, and another report from October revealed that the show is casting for Connor Hawke. In theArrowcomic books, Connor Hawke is Oliver Queen’s son, although that aspect of the comics will be discarded for the TV version.
