More than two years after season two concluded,Dead to Meis finally returning to Netflix for its third and final season. On Saturday, during Netflix’s Tudum global fan event, the streamer released a trailer and announced the series will return on November 17. Created by Liz Feldman,Dead to MestarsChristina ApplegateandLinda Cardellinias Jen and Judy, respectively, two women who meet at a grief support group following the death of Jen’s husband. The two polar opposites form an unlikely but strong friendship that survives even the news that Judy had an accidental role in Jen’s husband’s death.
As we see from the trailer above, the anticipated season 3 will pick up right after the hit-and-run accident involving Jen, Judy, and an intoxicated Ben (James Marsden), who flees the scene after the major crash. Both women are rushed to the hospital and Judy is seen walking alongside Jen, who is lying on a stretcher. A comical exchange between the two women and a nurse ensues, confirming that the two have not lost their dynamic. The trailer also includes some flashbacks of occurrences from the first two seasons, which is helpful since it has been a while since we last saw Jen and Judy.

Dead To Me’s cast also includes Suzy Nakamura, Max Jenkins, Sam McCarthy, Brandon Scott, Luke Roessler, Valerie Mahaffey, Natalie Morales, and Diana-Maria Riva. Feldman executive produces with Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell for Gloria Sanchez Prods., Applegate, Christie Smith, and Adam McKay. Cardellini serves as co-executive producer.
