Deadpool & Wolverineis breaking franchise records long before it hits cinemas. According to AMC Theaters, theRyan ReynoldsandHugh JackmanMCU movie is going to clock in as the longest movie in theDeadpoolfranchise when it arrives on July 05, 2025. Although there is always time for things to change in the next couple of months, this year’s only MCU movie will easily eclipse the runtimes ofDeadpoolandDeadpool 2.

Despite not being officially confirmed by Marvel Studios, a listing on AMC Theaters, which also provides the synopsis of the new movie as previously released, states thatDeadpool & Wolverinewill have a runtime of 2 hours and 7 minutes. This puts it well ahead of bothDeadpool’s 1 hour and 48 minutes, andDeadpool 2’s 1 hour and 59 minutes. With the film set to span multiple Marvel timelines and universes, it is probably not surprising that the Merc with a Mouth is coming in longer than ever before. With the film just over two months away, expect a final confirmation of this figure to come from Marvel Studios soon.

Deadpool & Wolverine

A follow-up to the highly successful Deadpool and Deadpool 2 films starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth. The third film will be the first in the franchise to be developed under the Marvel Studios banner following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox.

The extended runtime ofDeadpool & Wolverinemay well add to the hype surrounding the movie, as more time suggests more space for a world – or multiverse – ofcameo appearances, timeline jumping, and a lot of Reynolds and Jackman doing what fans have wanted to see for years; coming together. The film is already set to explore what Reynolds originally called a “hate/hate” relationship between the titular heroes, and that has been clearly on display in the trailers released so far. However, there is going to be a lot more going on in the movie than just the pair of indestructible superheroes knocking seven bells out of each other – there is a multiverse to be saved, and only two people who can save it.

Deadpool & Wolverine Could Disappoint If It Does Not Deliver on Its Cameo Teases

Rumors regarding Deadpool & Wolverine opening up the multiverse cameo rule book and ripping it down the middle have been constantly filling up internet fan pages and social media sites. The speculation of who will and won’t appear in the film, along with who will be playing them, has overtaken that ofDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which was the first multiverse movie to really kick out several unexpected appearances.

Deadpool & Wolverine’s long list of possible cameos includes every main character from Fox’s X-Men universe, Avengers, alternate variants of popular MCU characters, and those never-endingtheories of Taylor Swift dropping by to play Dazzler. While director Shawn Levy has done enough to tease the volume of cameos that will happen in the movie, it is a tease that could end up leaving some audiences feeling disappointed if they don’t turn out to be quite as far-reaching as suggested.
