Tickets forDeadpool & Wolverineare now on sale! But the question still remains: WillTaylor Swiftshow up as Dazzler in the upcoming superhero film? Well, coinciding with this morning’s tix sales, a brand-new Fandango Big Ticket interview dropped featuring the stars of the Merc with a Mouth’s first entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the sit-down,Ryan Reynoldsand Hugh Jackman, along with filmmaker Shawn Levy, addressed the “dazzling” subject.
The three friends also discussed a number of other topics about the upcoming movie, including those pesky cameo rumors still flooding the internet about all the potential characters who could show up. And naturally, the question of whether Swift would make an appearance as Dazzler came up again. But when it came to confirming Dazzler or any other superheroes who might pop up in the thirdDeadpoolentry, Levy simply said (perFandango):

I think we’re going to go with avoidance [laughter] more than dishonesty.
Deadpool & Wolverine
A follow-up to the highly successful Deadpool and Deadpool 2 films starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth. The third film will be the first in the franchise to be developed under the Marvel Studios banner following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
Reynolds quickly chimed in, but he was equally coy:

“I don’t think straight-up dishonesty is in the cards for us right now[…] You know, movies like this are — there’s so many — just so much speculation about so many people that might end up in the film. You know,I saw one that was convinced Elvis was in the movie [laughter].Anything could happen andthat’s sort of what I love about this universe and this world. We’ll see.Surprises are the essence of Deadpool.”
Possible Cameos by Other X-Men, Marvel Characters?
While the three friends didn’t let the cat out of the bag about Taylor Swift possibly being Dazzler, Shawn Levy has already said how “easy” it was to get certain actors to makecameos inDeadpool & Wolverine. Now, after addressing Dazzler, the Big Ticket interview briefly turned into a hilarious lie detector test as Fandango’s Jacqueline Coley attempted to cajole cameo information out of the three friends.
Coley specifically asked about the character Elektra fromDaredevil, along with theX-Men’sMystique and Storm. Coinciding with each query were images of Jennifer Garner (Elektra), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Halle Berry (Storm) appearing on-screen. Levy responded by cautiously saying in the same interview:

We come to this movie, I definitely come to this movie as a fan… a fan of the X-Men movies and the Deadpool movies. And so, the movie was definitely made with the love of being a fan.

“I swear to you, when I said I was done [playing Wolverine] …I really thought I was done. But, in the back of my head ever since I saw Deadpool 1,I was like, ‘Those two characters together.’I knew it, I knew fans wanted ‘em ever since I’d put on the claws.People talked about these two. So, that had always been there, but I just knew."
Jackman continued:
“And I literally couldn’t wait to arrive at work.As soon as I arrived, I rang Ryan. And I just said,‘Let’s do it.’Like I hadn’t rung my agent [laughter] — no one. I had to ring my agent and said,‘Oh, by the way, I’ve just committed to a movie' [laughs].”
