Doctor Strange Trailer Is Here!

Last week, ABC announced a full week ofMarvel-themed episodes on the late-night talk showJimmy Kimmel Live!While most of the shows center onCaptain America: Civil War,Doctor StrangestarBenedict Cumberbatchstopped by tonight to debut thefirst trailerfor this superhero adventure, arriving in theaters November 4. This new footage comes less than a week afterproduction wrappedonDoctor Strange, following a shoot in New York City. Filming began this past November, with production first taking place in Nepal, before moving to London, Hong Kong, Kathmandu and finally New York City. Just before production wrapped, newset photosgave us our first look atMads Mikkelsenas the mysterious villain, although no details have been revealed regarding his character.

Doctor Strangetells the story of Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), an acclaimed neurosurgeon who uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions after a near-fatal car accident. The film will show audiences corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe never before explored, thanks to directorScott Derrickson, who is working from a script byJon Spaihts, based on the comic book character created byStan LeeandSteve Ditko.Doctor Strangeis set for release on November 4, going up against Warner Bros.‘Bastardsand 20th Century Fox’sTrolls.

TheDoctor Strangesupporting cast is rounded out byTilda Swinton,Chiwetel Ejiofor,Rachel McAdams,Michael Stuhlbarg,Amy Landecker,Scott AdkinsandMads Mikkelsen.Marvelstill hasn’t revealed which charactersAmy Landecker,Scott Adkins,Mads MikkelsenandRachel McAdamsare playing just yet, but there are rumors thatRachel McAdamsis playing theNight Nurse.Tilda Swintonis playing the Ancient One, withChiwetel Ejioforportraying Baron Mordo andMichael Stuhlbargplaying Nicodemus West.

Back in December,Doctor StrangedirectorScott Derricksonreleased a set photo with the newSpider-Man,Tom Holland, who makes his debut inCaptain America: Civil Warnext month.
