The forthcoming filmCandy Cane LanestarringEddie Murphy, has confirmed three more additional cast members. PerDeadline, Ken Marino, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and D.C. Young Fly are set to join the ensemble cast.
Marino, Johnson-Reyes, and D.C. Young Fly join thepreviously announced cast members, including Eddie Murphy, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jillian Bell, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, and Danielle Pinnock. The film will be directed by Reginald Hudlin, with the script written by Kelly Younger. Plot details are still scarce, but it was reported that the childhood holiday experiences of director Hudlin inspired the film.

Candy Cane Lane’scast and crew are already filming in Los Angeles. The film will be streamed through Prime Video and will be available to over 240 countries worldwide. It was also reported that the film is part of Eddie Murphy’s three-picture deal with Amazon Studios, and the actor is also set to produce the film. Murphy, together with Charisse Hewitt-Webster, will produce the film through Eddie Murphy Productions along with Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder.

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes also has something to brag about. She started her career as a stand-up comedian, just like most comedians in Hollywood. She already had six various comedy specials streamed through different platforms. She was also seen on the small screen through shows such asLife & Beth, Superstore, The Shield, andUgly Betty.
On the other hand, D.C. Young Fly has made a name for himself through Nick Cannon’sWild’n Outand is a familiar face as a returning guest on 50 Cent’s hit showBMF. Aside from his stint in Nick Cannon’sWild’n Out, he also hosts a podcast called85 Southwhich is popular among listeners.
