As reported byPEOPLE, starEva Longoriarecently revealed that she still misses herDesperate Housewivescharacter Gabby and would jump at the chance to revive the character in a reboot.

The comedy-dramaDesperate Housewivesran from 2004 to 2012and followed the ups and downs in the lives of suburban neighbors living on Wisteria Lane. TheFlamin' Hotdirector went on to tell host Andy Cohen that she was still attached to herDesperate Housewivescharacter saying, “I miss Gabby.”

When asked what she thought her character would be up to nowadays, Longoria said, “Gabby would be an influencer, for sure. She’d be an Instagrammer.”

TheBrooklyn Nine-Ninestar went on to say that the cast of Desperate Housewives worked hard during the series' eight seasons.

Eva Longoria Said That She and the Rest of the Desperate Housewives Cast “We Used To Shoot 24 Episodes a Season”

She said, “Back in the day, we used to shoot 24 episodes a season, and we did that for eight years. We fully mined those characters — none of this six-episodes-a-season s—.”

Longoria then joked, “There was nobody left on the street for me to sleep with. I slept with everybody.”

After being asked by Cohen if there was a time when she felt thatDesperate Housewives"jumped the shark," Longoria said she didn’t believe so, but fellow guest Gabrielle Union chimed in to disagree. Union remarked, “As a fan…Alfre Woodard in the basement? I was like, ‘Okay … Okay.’ "

TheOver Her Dead Bodystar replied by saying, “By the way, that was season 2!”

PEOPLE noted that after earning the role of Gabby onDesperate Housewives, Longoria shot to fame playing the model turned housewife who has an affair with her gardener (played by Jesse Metcalfe). After the series came to an end in 2012, Longoria branched out producing and directing for shows likeDevious Maids,Jane the Virgin, andBlack-ish.At the premiere ofFlamin' Hot(her feature-film directorial debut), Longoria also got to reunite with her formerDesperate Housewivescostar, Metcalfe, on the red carpet. After spotting Metcalfe, theDora and the Lost City of Goldstar got her former costar to briefly join her.

After seeing Metcalfe, Longoria later told PEOPLE, “I usedDesperate Housewivesas my film school — that’s where I learned everything.”

Longoria added that she has no plans to permanently move behind the camera, telling the outlet, “I love acting, so I’ll always do that.”
