It’s beginning to look a lotlike a Christmas musical! How many of you recall Ryan Reynolds’s and Will Ferrell’s 2022 Christmas musical comedy filmSpirited? It’s a modern retelling of the classic Charles Dicken’s 1843 novelA Christmas Carol. This film tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the current Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell), who is nearing his retirement. However, he feels that he is not ready to retire from his position just yet.
He comes across Clint Briggs (Reynolds), an “unredeemable” renowned media consultant with his fair share of controversy. Present has Clint undergo the Christmas haunt, hoping to create a ripple: a positive force on humanity. But along the way, Clint manages to teach Present a few things aboutsecond chances and coming to termswith his own past. In the end, both Clint and Present overcome their pasts and are able to move forward in their life (for Present) and afterlife (for Clint). If you liked singing along to the film’s songs before, Apple TV+ will stream it on Dec. 1 as a sing-along version.

The premise for this movie is that Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) seems like an average family man just living his life. But he used to bea deadly assassin in his past, long before he settled down. But his past finally catches up to him.
to confront the person who wants him dead, he takes his family on a “road trip” to Las Vegas. How will he continue to keep his past a secret from his family? Will the truth set him free? Or will it cost him more than his life? The film was produced by Skydance Media and Wahlberg’s production company Municipal Pictures. The film was announced back in August 2022 and will be the perfect family movie to watch for the holidays.
