From the complicated media empire ofthe Roy family inSuccession, or the endless troubles and power grabs of theDutton family inYellowstoneand its spin-offs, some of the most succesfull shows of the past few years have been about the dark ways in which family and business can intersect.

Bringing in a multicultural perspective while also touching on important sociopolitical topics,Casa Grandehopes to add to the mix. It has the benefit of not belonging to a premium subscription service like HBO or Paramount+, though, which gives it a boost and a bigger chance.
