As production continues on theGhostbustersreboot in Boston, directorPaul Feighastweeted the official revealof the new costumes to be worn byKristen Wiig,Melissa McCarthy,Leslie JonesandKate McKinnon. Unfortunately, we only get to see these costumes on the rack. It may be quite some time before we see the actresses actually donning theseGhostbusterscostumes on set. We also don’t get to see the “proton packs” and other equipment they will use in the reboot.
According toplot rumorsthat surfaced earlier this month, the story followsKristen WiigandMelissa McCarthy’s characters, who wrote a book that claims ghosts are real. Several years later,Kristen Wiig’s character lands a job at Columbia University, although she is laughed out of her new job shortly after word of her book surfaces. She ends up reuniting withMelissa McCarthyand her new ghost-hunting partner, played byKate McKinnon, as New York City becomes haunted by a slew of ghosts.Leslie Joneswill play an MTA employee who comes face-to-face with the main ghost.

We’ve already seen the first photos from theGhostbusters set, but it remains to be seen how long we’ll have to wait to see the four stars donning their new costumes.
