Spider-Man is officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now, and that makes fans very happy.Tom Hollandalready gave us an excellent taste of his take on Peter Parker inCaptain America: Civil War, and it was by most accounts absolutely fantastic. That has led to a crazy amount of excitement forSpider-Man: Homecoming, which is currently filming. And we just got our first look atHollandin costume on set.

Some set photos recently surfaced onTwittershowcasingTom Hollandin his full-onSpider-Man costume.Hollandis pretty much just standing there in what looks to be an expensive version of a Morphsuit, but that is essentially what Spidey’s suit has always been, so there is nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately the shots that have surfaced don’t show a whole lot of action, butHollandlooks pretty great as Spider-Man, and the photos are definitely helping to stir up some excitement.

In the series of photos that were released, Spider-Man appears to be near some sort of construction zone of sorts. He is shown sitting inside of a concrete tube and in the other shots, he is standing near them, clearly waiting for the rest of the crew to do what they have to do to start filming.Homecominghas been shooting for almost two weeks, and this is far from the first batch of photos we have seen from the set, but this is the first batch the featuresHollandin the suit, and that is significant.

As soon asHomecomingstarted filming, there were a ton of casting announcements made and a lot of set photos pouring in.Silicon ValleystarMartin Starrhas joined the cast, and is presumably paying a high school teacher. ComedianHannibal Buresshas also joined in an unspecified role, in addition toDonald Glover,Logan Marshall-Green,Bookeem Woodbineand perhaps most interestingly,Michael MandoandAbraham Attah. Those two have potential roles that would mean huge things forHomecoming, and the MCU as a whole.

Firstly,Mando’s role hasn’t been officially revealed, but there has been some speculation recently that he will be playing the villain carnage, thanks to a Tweet from theBetter Call Saulaccount shortly after his casting announcement was made. No doubt though, the thing that has fans most excited isAttah, who many are fairly sure is playing none other than Miles Morales. For those who may not know, Morales is the other Spider-Man in Marvel Comics who is a half black, half hispanic, young kid who takes over for Spidey oncePeter Parkerdies. Fans have been clamoring for Morales to make an appearance on the big screen pretty much ever since the character was created, and that may finally be happening. But that is just speculation at this point.

If the rumor turns out to be true, that would mean the MCU would indeed have two Spider-Men in it. Even if Morales is only mentioned by name inHomecomingand never gets anywhere near a suit, it will mean huge things for the long term outlook of theSpider-Man franchise. For now, we can just be excited thatTom Hollandis bringing Spidey to the MCU, and he looks great doing it. Be sure to check out the set photos ofHollandin the Spider-Man suit below.
