Having recently appeared in the serious if badly received sci-fi noir thrillerReminiscence, Hugh Jackman’s voice-over role inBig Mouth’s Season 5 episode “No Nut November” could not be more different, and the actor responded to someone commenting on the performance on his Twitter account.

And apparently those abs were a big part of the role, as Jackman quipped in response to mention he was tagged in on Twitter.
“I don’t know how @NickKroll /@BigMouthAndrew managed to convince @RealHughJackman to voice a penis in the new season of @BigMouth but bravo (bonus points for giving the penis abs) #BigMouth” Leon Sjogren said in his original post. In reply, Jackman said, “The abs were nonnegotiable.”
Of course, Jackman is always up for a laugh, even if he is best known for his action and musical roles, whether it be as Wolverine in theX-Menseries, Jean Valjean in the big screen adaptation ofLes Miserablesor his other big musical role as P.T. Barnum inThe Greatest Showman. He has appeared in small comical roles inNight at the Museum: Secret of the TombandFree Guy, as well as the terribleMovie 43, which many critics and audiences noted was so bad that the actors really needed to have a good sense of humor to have gone anywhere near it. Then we have his online spat with best buddy Ryan Reynolds to consider, which has been going on for years now and shows no sign of ending any time soon.
When it comes to his comments about his latest unexpected appearance, it would not be surprising for the actor to have actually made sure that his animated, talking penis would have the abs of an Adonis considering he is very rarely seen on screen without a six pack on display. However, he will be returning to more serious roles in the near future, having recently completed filming onThe Son, with Anthony Hopkins, and is a set to take the title role in Michael Mann’sEnzo Ferraribiopic. While he may be done with his time as Wolverine in the MarvelX-Menfranchise, he has stated that he would consider a return to another former role in a sequel to his cult movieReal Steel, which has been getting a lot of attention onNetflixrecently, rejuvenating calls from fans for a follow up.
