Fans have been clamoring for theDeadpoolmovie for the past six years, ever sinceRyan Reynoldsstarred as Wade Wilson inX-Men Origins: WolverinealongsideHugh Jackmanas Wolverine.Hugh Jackmanhas actually starred in everyX-Menmovie thus far, but he has not been confirmed to appear inDeadpoolquite yet. With production winding down onDeadpool,Ryan Reynoldswas asked ifHugh Jackmanwould cameo asThe WolverineinDeadpool, and it seems it may happen, although it isn’t set in stone.
“God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else.”
When asked how different the experience of shootingDeadpoolwas different thanX-Men Origins: Wolverine,Ryan Reynoldshad this to say.
“It’s always different in practice than it is in your mind, which by and large, I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older, is a good thing. We’re just diving into it, but it’s such a fun cast and crew, it’s been really lovely so far.”
The actor also added that he is much more “intimately involved” with the production, and that it has a much smaller than previous X-men movies.
“I’m intimately involved, only because this movie doesn’t have the budget that those X-Men movies had; this is, comparatively speaking, a very small film. We have to make the most out of every dollar that we’re putting on screen. So you get involved in all sorts of things that you would never have otherwise gotten involved in, right down to what color the walls are at the back of the set.”
Hugh Jackmanrevealed recently thatWolverine 3, set for release in March 2017, will be his last time portraying the iconic Logan, but we’ll have to wait and see if he will appear inDeadpooland other upcomingX-Menmovies such asX-Men: ApocalypseandGambit.
