Marvel has released some brand new posters forAvengers: Infinity War. Previously, Marvel gave us a rather simple logo poster for the epic event and, more recently, they unleashed a poster that features nearly every Major MCU character, with Thanos at its center. This handful of new posters divides theheroes of the Marvel universeinto teams, which is how they’re primarily going to be featured inInfinity war. To the chagrin of many fans, none of these posters include Hawkeye, who is still nowhere to be found in the marketing for this movie.

Putting Hawkeye asidefor a second, these posters are quite good and are going to help build just a bit more hype forAvengers: Infinity war, which arrives in theaters a month from now on April 27. Marvel recently bumped up the release date by a week, as the movie was originally scheduled to arrive on May 4. That could be so that Disney doesn’t wind up competing too heavily with themselves whenSolo: A Star Wars Storyarrives on May 25. Whatever the case may be, nobody is upset that the highly-anticipatedAvengers 3is arriving in theaters earlier than we previously expected.

These new postersshowcase the teams that we’ll be seeinginInfinity War. There’s the Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, Wong and Spider-Man group. In the trailers, we’ve seen Bruce Banner with that bunch, but he’s Hulked up with Black Widow, Black Panther and Okoye here. There’s also a poster with Captain America, Bucky, Black Panther’s sister Shuri, Nebula and Gamora. Then we’ve got Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon and War Machine together, as well as Thor alongsideGuardians of the Galaxymembers Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and teenage Groot.

That’s all good and well, but Marvel really has manywondering where Hawkeye isat. We know he’s going to be inAvengers: Infinity War, as well asAvengers 4next year, but why hasn’t he been featured in any of the trailers or posters? Directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo have promised that he’s in the movie and on his own, unique path following the events ofCaptain America: Civil War. But it’s still strange that he’s literally not been spotted anywhere. He was even left out of the series ofInfinity Warmagazine covers that Entertainment Weekly released. Maybe his role in the movie is truly going to be such a big surprise that they can’t afford to spoil it in a trailer or poster. Or maybe he’s the one character who simply couldn’t be squeezed into the action. Either way, it’s pretty clear we’re not seeingClint Bartonuntil the movie actually arrives in theaters.
