A new trailer forHouse Shark, an upcoming low-budget, independent movie that serves as an homage of sorts to Steven Spielberg’sJaws, has arrived online. Most of the time, making anycomparison to Jawsis a good thing. In this case, that all depends on your level of appreciation for ultra-low-budget, schlock.House Sharkis billed as, “Jawsin a house” and this trailer promises exactly that. Sort of. Just without all of the great effects and expertly crafted tension. That’s been replaced with cheap blood, really bad acting and what looks to be a paper mache shark.
TheHouse Sharktrailer delivers on the promise of the movie’s name, in that, via completely unexplained and mysterious reasoning, this movie centers on a few men who have to deal with amurderous sharkthat attacks in a house as opposed to the ocean. It also certainly is mirroringJawsin many ways. There’s even an homage to that all-time great monologue, only this time it’s as cheesy as you might expect it would be in a movie titledHouse Shark. By the looks of it, this could wind up being a legendarily bad, low-budget movie, in the vein ofThankskilling.

Instead of, “You’re gonna need a bigger boat,” this movie promises that you’re gonna need a bigger house.House Sharkcenters on a man named Frank (Trey Harrison) who finds his happy home under attack by a dangerous but largely unknownbreed of shark, aHouse Shark.
