Often calledone of the scariest movies ever made, theInsidiousfranchise is back, and filming on the fifth installment has officially wrapped. The news was shared Monday in a tweet by Dagmara Dominczyk, wife of director and star Patrick Wilson.“6 weeks of (fake) blood, sweat, and tears, and now he’s mine all mine once again,” Dominczyk wrote, sharing a sweet photo of her resting her head on Wilson’s shoulder. “[Wilson] directed a movie, (and killed it, no pun intended) but man oh man we sure have missed him #thatsawrap.”

Although his work in the franchise has mostly been in front of the screen until now,Insidious 5marks Wilson’s directorial debut.

In 2010, Wilson starred alongside Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins, and Andrew Astor in the firstInsidiousfilm. The four portrayed the Lamberts, an American family plagued by malicious entities from “The Further” when their young son Dalton (Simpkins) falls into a coma. When the Lamberts seek the help of psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye), the family discovers that what Dalton is experiencing is more horrifying—and, as it turns out for Wilson’s Josh, more familiar—than initially thought.
