“I’m just so blessed that I had so many things to live for. I have a giant family. I have a 10-year-old daughter. I would have disappointed and really messed up a lot of people’s lives if I would’ve passed. So, there’s a lot for me to get better for. I’m also a pretty stubborn S.O.B., and there’s a lot for me to have to fight for.”
Following Jeremy Renner’s incredible recovery from his freak snowplow accident back in January 2023, Paramount+‘sMayor of Kingstownis now getting cameras rolling on its third season. Prior to this most recent update, Renner shared a post by his costar Emma Laird onInstagram, in which she expressed her excitement about being back working with the Marvel actor from the beginning of January.

Previously,Deadlinereported that the crime thriller created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon was preparing to start production in early 2024. After filming for the show’s second season wrapped, and before that season aired, Renner was accidentally run over by his seven-ton snow plow and seriously injured. He suffered more than 30 broken bones, blunt chest trauma, and orthopedic injuries and required multiple surgeries.
