The first look at the upcoming science fiction action movie sequel,Skyline: Warpath, pairsThe Raid’sIko UwaiswithJohn Wick: Chapter 4starScott Adkinsfor what’s sure to be a masterclass in martial arts-meets-alien invader mayhem. The project has now been pre-purchased by XYZ Films, meaning they will distributeSkyline: Warpathin the United States in early 2025.
The first look images find Uwais and Adkins both fighting side by side and fighting each other, withSkyline: Warpaththe fourth installment in the sci-fi franchise that began back in 2010 with the small-scale disaster movie,Skyline. you may check out the first look images fromSkyline: Warpathbelow:

Directed by Liam O’Donnell (Beyond Skyline),Skyline: Warpathis currently filming in Indonesia and will be led by the one-two action hero punch ofIko Uwais(The Raid, The Raid 2) and Scott Adkins (Boyka: Undisputed, Avengement). The rest of the cast includes Louis Mandylor (Rambo: Last Blood, The Debt Collector), Randall Bacon (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Yayan Ruhian (The Raid, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens).
The firstSkylineis largely set in one place, an apartment in Los Angeles, and follows a small group of friends as they witness a terrifying alien invasion take place, during which giant blue lights descend from the sky, hypnotizing anyone who looks at them. The series has since evolved into an epic action saga, with the 2017 sequel,Beyond Skyline, bringingThe Purge: Anarchystar Frank Grillo and Uwais into the fray.

Skyline: Warpathsees Uwais reprise the role of Sua, the leader of an underground human resistance, and picks up five years after the events ofBeyond Skyline. The sequel (viaDeadline) “follows Sua (Uwais) as he leads The Resistance against the aliens. When he discovers the powerful alien Radial Gauntlet, he must deal with both the corrupt Eric (Adkins) and the army of alien invaders.”
Director Liam O’Donnell has since released a statement, and the filmmaker is as excited as anyone to see Uwais and Adkins share the screen.

Following his role inJohn Wick: Chapter 4, one of his most prominent roles so far, action icon Scott Adkins is currently starring in the sequelOne More Shot. Joined by fellow action icon Michael Jai White,One More Shotis filmed in ‘one shot,’ much like its 2021 predecessor, and finds Adkins’ Navy SEAL thrown into action while accompanying a terrorist suspect to Washington D.C.
Adkins is also dueto join Frank Grillo inLights Out, which has been described as “Road HousemeetsKickboxer,” and will share the screen withGuardians of the GalaxystarDave Bautista inThe Killer’s Game, which sees a veteran assassin fending off fellow killers after placing a hit out on himself.
Iko Uwais, meanwhile, was last seen starring alongside Jason Statham in the oddly titledExpend4bles, and is also due to star in the sci-fi horror movie,Ash, alongside Eiza González and Aaron Paul.
