It had to happen. It was only a matter of time. One of next year’s biggest blockbusters has gotten the mashup treatment with one of this year’s box office hits. That’s right, in a special fan made video, The Joker and Harley Quinn go allFifty Shades Darker. And it’s pretty spectacular.

The relationship between The Joker and Harleen Frances Quinzel was already dark. But if you thought it couldn’t go any darker, you were wrong. Because it just went pitch black. ThisSuicide Squadmashup comes fromYoutubeuser Nerdy Hero. He calls this little piece of fan erotica ‘Fifty Shades of Joker’. And apparently, it has been a long time coming. He explains.

“Crazy Never Looked So Bad! Honestly I’ve had this Idea for a Mashup for almost a year and glad to finally be able to make it and show you all!”

The firstFifty Shades Darker trailerdropped earlier this month, and racked up more first day views across a wide array of social media than evenStar Wars: The Force Awakens. Some predict that it could knockStar Wars: The Force Awakensoff the domestic box office chart, becoming the biggest movie of all time in the U.S.Suicide Squaddidn’t manage to do that when it opened this past August, but despite weak reviews and unsatisfied fans, the movie is a certified hit having earned $315 million domestic and $721.8 million worldwide. It is currently the 8th highest grossing movie of the year, just behindBatman V Supermanat number 7.

This mashup uses music fromFifty Shades Darker, giving it a veryBDSMfeel. The Clown Prince of Gotham and his betrothed become the new Anastasia Steele and Mr. Grey, as it were. And it is exactly what the movie needs right now. Perhaps some fans will watch this and want to recapture that summer magic as we head into the fall and Oscar season. The video is also cool, too, seeing as how director David Ayer axed a lot ofJokerand Harley’s scenes from the finished movie. About that, Jared Leto had this to say in an earlier interview.

“If I were to die tomorrow, maybe the studio would roll something out. Rated R or rated X performance in there somewhere.”

Margot Robbie claimed that these scenes hit the cutting room floor simply because the movie needed to focus on the mission laid out in front of Task Force X. And not the budding romantic relationship between two psychos. You can watch this perfect mashup here. We’ve also included theFifty Shades Darkertrailer, though with it garnering so many views this past month, we don’t know how you possibly missed it. While we await news on a release date forSuicide Squad 2, Fifty Shades Darker will be in theaters this Valentines Day.
