After thefirst trailerwas released back in July at Comic Con,Deadpoolinstantly became one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2016. While it isn’t known when the next trailer will debut, composerTom Holkenberg, a.k.a.Junkie XL, revealed over the weekend that he will be providing the score for this upcoming superhero movie. The composer announced that he starts work on the score on Monday.

Based uponMarvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero,Deadpooltells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenaryWade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter egoDeadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor,Deadpoolhunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The supporting cast includesMorena Baccarinas Wade’s girlfriend Vanessa Carlyle, a.k.a. Copycat,Gina Caranoas Angel Dust,Ed Skreinas Ajax,T.J. Milleras Wesel,Andre Tricoteuxas Colossus andLeslie Uggamsas Blind Al. There have been rumors thatHugh Jackmanmay have a cameo as Wolverine, but that has not been confirmed at this time. There has also been a rumor that 20th Century Fox is moving forward withDeadpool 2, in place of a sequel to this summer’s box office bomb,Fantastic Four.
