Fans have already seen what the Australian actor looks like in the white wig, thanks to a brief teaser released by Netflix and several leaked set photos. But, a new leaked promo has given fans their best look yet at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia… and it looks promising.
The new look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia was revealed via Redanian Intelligence. The photos come from the show’s production at Longcross Studios, which is just outside of London. The first poster has the show’s logo in large print, but the second reveals Liam Hemsworth’s Geralt in all its glory. In the poster, Hemsworth wears Geralt’s iconic white wig, as well as the black studded leather armor that Henry Cavill wore in Season 3. On his back, he’s wearing one of Geralt’s two swords. The design appears to be his Steel sword, which fans of the franchise know is for humans and non-magical creatures.

‘The Witcher’ Season 4 Will Incorporate Henry Cavill’s Recasting Into Its Story
As previously mentioned, Season 4 ofThe Witcherhasn’t been given an official release date yet. As production has wrapped on Season 4, and shooting on the fifth season is already underway, some were hoping thatLiam Hemsworth would make hisThe Witcherdebutlater this year. However, a 2026 release now feels far more likely.
When Henry Cavill was recast after leaving the series (his departure is believed to be for creative reasons, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed), many were wondering how the series would handle Geralt’s new look in Seasons 4 and 5. Would the series simply act as if nothing happened and continue the story from where it left off? Not quite.
Season 4 will directly address the recastingby making even more alterations to Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels. The new season will use the characters of Nimue and Striborg, who are alive a century after Geralt’s story concludes, to re-frame Hemsworth as Geralt. Striborg is a traveling storyteller who was recounting Geralt’s quest to Nimue. In Season 4, Nimue will tell Striborg that he got a detail wrong, that being how Geralt looked.
