Goldstein. No other characters have been confirmed yet, but todayLatino Reviewcame across a rumored cast list forSpider-Man, which reveals a slew of new cast members supposedly in various stages of negotiations.
The biggest revelations on this list are the two villains, Adrian Toomes, a.k.a. The Vulture, reportedly played byBilly Zaneand Mac Gagnon, a.k.a. Scorpion, whichJason Biggsis supposedly playing. According to this list, both actors are in “final negotiations,” for their respective roles. AsLatino Reviewpoints out, both Vulture and Scorpion wear mech suits, which would explain the inclusion ofRobert Downey Jr.as Iron Man on this list. All of the finalists for the Spidey role tested in Atlanta withRobert Downey Jr., so it makes sense for him to be present inSpider-Man.
Other roles included in this purported casting list include Mary Jane Watson, with Rachel G. Fox in final negotiations andTimothée Chalamet, also in final talks to play Harry Osborn.Timothee Chalametwas one of the top 5 contenders to play Peter Parker, beforeTom Hollandwon the role. Sami Gayle is in talks to play Liz Allen and African-American actor Jacob Latimore is in negotiations to play Flash Thompson, who is a white male in the comics. The rumored cast list also reveals thatHugh Laurieis in final talks to play J. Jonah Jameson,Forest Whitakeris in talks for the Robbie Robertson role,Miranda Cosgroveis in talks to play Betty Brant andTyler Poseyis in talks to play Ned Leeds.
Keep in mind, none of these actors or even the characters they’re supposedly playing have been confirmed by Sony Pictures or Marvel, and it could just be created by some fan. Twitter userGeoff Breedwellreveals that the list first surfaced on Reddit, so it certainly could have come from anywhere. With that being said, these are certainly some interesting casting choices, even if they do turn out to be bogus.

Goldsteinwere just brought on a few weeks ago, and it isn’t known how far along they are on the script, or if they have even started it at all. Then again, Spidey and Aunt May have already been cast without a script, and both Sony and Marvel could have hammered out a list of characters they want to see featured in this reboot, along with a list of potential actors for each role.
