This has caused 20th Century Fox to do some in-house restructuring, which means new release dates for quite a few anticipated releases.

Universal has the supernatural historical dramaThe Great Wallset for this date, with Relativity positioning the long-awaited horror sequelThe Strangers 2here as well. The Maze Runner: The Death Curewas forced to shut down production after starDylan O’Briensustained critical injuries while filming a stunt gone wrong. The accident happened back on March 28. There were conflicting reports about the extent ofO’Brien’s injuries, and they turned out to be worse than originally reported. On April 29, 20th Century Fox halted all production indefinitely. No resume date has been announced at this time. Reports have claimed that the actor suffered a concussion, a facial fracture and several lacerations from a motorcycle stunt that didn’t go according to plan.
In the wake ofThe Maze Runner 3’s delay,Deadlineannounces that 20th Century Fox has moved around some of its other upcoming releases. Director Shane Black’sPredator reboothas shifted from August 15, 2025 to July 15, 2025. And two untitled Marvel movies are being swapped around the docket. The first moves from July 01, 2025 to August 16, 2025. The second actually skips back a month, from August 07, 2025 to August 19, 2025. It isn’t known what these movies are, but currently sitting without release dates areThe New Mutants,The X-Force,GambitandDeadpool 2. Fox is also planningX-Men 7.
