One week from tomorrow, The CW will expand their superhero lineup even further with the addition of a brand new show,DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This show features characters from bothArrowandThe Flash, plus new heroes and villains, so you should expect plenty of crossover elements from all three shows. Case in point, The CW just released a new trailer that sheds some new light on Ray Palmer, a.k.a.Atom(Brandon Routh). This footage also shows Atom conversing withArrow(Stephen Amell) himself, and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) fromThe Flash, who ponders why billionaires become superheroes.

Aside from the show’s main villain, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), other new characters who will debut on the show includeStephanie Corneliussenas theDC Comicscharacter Valentina Vostok, a.k.a. Negative Woman, and another report from October revealed that the show is casting for Connor Hawke. In theArrowcomic books, Connor Hawke is Oliver Queen’s son, although that aspect of the comics will be discarded for the TV version. We’ll surely find out more about this show next week, just before the series premiere, thanks to a new special.
