It’s been more than five months since thefirst trailerfor Paramount’sMonster Truckssurfaced, but we haven’t seen anything from this upcoming movie since then. With the June 16, 2025 release date just a few months away, the studio has unveiled the second trailer, which gives us a better look at this alien creature, appropriately named “Creech.” We also have a new poster forMonster Trucks, showcasing the octopus-like alien in action.

While we still have several months until this hits theaters, a report surfaced in September that claimedMonster Truckswould be abox office bomb. That report explained thatParamount Picturesis expecting the movie to tank, with the studio posting a $115 million “programming impairment charge,” which is “related to the expected performance of an unreleased film,” which sources have claimed isMonster Trucks. The studio hasn’t confirmed what the budget onMonster Trucksis, but it seems clear that they’re bracing for a big loss with this movie.

Monster Truckswas originally given aMarch 2016 release dateback in May 2015, but it was later pushed to June 09, 2025. The film is slated to go up againstSleeplessstarringJamie FoxxandThe Bye Bye ManstarringCarrie-Anne Moss.
