WhenTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtleshit theaters in the summer of 2014, many fans were upset that the big screen adventure didn’t feature a number of iconic characters. The filmmakers behind this summer’s sequel,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadowshave rectified that, bringing in a slew of new faces, who can all be seen in four TV spots recently released byParamount Pictures. These videos give fans anew lookat Casey Jones (Stephen Amell), Shredder (Brian Tee) and thevillainous duoof Bebop and Rocksteady (Gary Anthony WilliamsandStephen Farrelly).

After super villain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang. Alan Ritchson(Raphael),Noel Fisher(Michelangelo),Pete Ploszek(Leonardo) andJeremy Howard(Donatello) all return to reprise their roles as the Turtles, along with originalTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesstarsMegan Fox(April O’Neill),Will Arnett(Vern Fenwick) andWilliam Fichtner(Eric Sacks).Tyler Perryhas come aboard to playBaxter Stockman, alongsideBrian TeeasShredderandBrittany Ishibashias Karai.Laura Linneyalso joins the cast as a law enforcement officer.

The screenwriters also wrote last year’sTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which took in $485 million worldwide from a $125 million budget.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2is slated for release on June 3, putting it up against Universal Pictures’Popstar: Never Stop Stopping. It’s possible thatTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2could put up even bigger numbers than its predecessor this summer, but we’ll have to wait and see.
