On Friday,Hulureleased a new teaser for the show’s upcoming second season that features main cast members Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short. Addressing the viewers from the inside of an elevator, the trio announced that season 2 of the acclaimed series will start streaming this summer with an official premiere date set for June 09, 2025. you may watch the teaser below.

“Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, neighbors turned podcast co-hosts Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez) race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue: the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.”
Steve Martin co-createdOnly Murders in the Buildingwith John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie). The two also executive produce alongside Short and Gomez, as well as Dan Fogelman (This Is Us) and Jess Rosenthal. The cast also starred Aaron Dominguez and Amy Ryan with guest appearances by Tina Fey, Nathan Lane, Sting, Jane Lynch, and more. Cara Delevingne, Michael Rapaport, and Amy Schumer will be a part of season 2.

Only Murders in the Building Scored a Perfect 100% Rating at Rotten Tomatoes
The reception to the first season ofOnly Murders in the Buildingwas very strong. Critics were unanimous with the support of the series, bestowing it with a perfect 100% score onRotten Tomatoes. Its audience score was not too far behind, with a score of 93% fresh. The pressure will be on to match the quality of the first season if not outright surpass it with season 2, but the team behind the series is very confident in what’s in store for fans moving forward.
