After months of anticipation, theStar Wars: The Force Awakenscast and filmmakers put on a show-stopping panel atComic-Contoday, in front of a packedHall Hcrowd. As previously reported, there was no new trailer shown during the one-hour panel, but fans did get to see a fascinating three-minute behind-the-scenes video, which gave us our first look atCarrie Fisheras Princess Leia, and confirmed a long-held rumor thatSimon Peggdoes, in fact, have a role in the movie. It isn’t known exactly what he plays, but, judging by the costume he’s wearing, it seems unlikely that we’ll see his face in the movie.

The photos also give us new looks at the beloved R2-D2, C-3PO, the ball droidBB-8and evenMark Hamill, but unfortunately he is out of costume. We also see Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as a mysterious motion capture character,John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson and Harrison Ford. We also get a look atWarwick Davis, who confirmed his involvement inStar Wars: The Force Awakenslast year. But we still don’t know what character he’s playing. The actor is seen out of costume, but he is pictured alongside a furry creature who has not yet been identified.

Conspicuously absent from the video and images is Adam Driver, though we do see him in character as the villainousKylo Renback in May. Making up for his absence is a number of unidentified actors and characters, along with a slew of ships like a downed TIE Fighter and much, much more. Producer Kathleen Kennedy revealed that the next trailer won’t debut until sometime this fall, so, until then, these images will have to suffice. Check out the photos and the fullbehind-the-scenes videobelow.
