Dark Phoenixis getting pulled from over 1,600 theaters this week. It’s about to lose 44% of its screens, which definitely will not help it make some more money in North America. As of this writing, the latestX-Menmovie is stalled at just over $60 million domestically with a grand total of over $232 million globally. It had the worst opening in the franchise’s history at just over $33 million and it is currently the lowest scoring of the franchise on Rotten Tomatoes....

David Arquetteseemed to have come to the end of his run in theScreamfranchise in this year’s fifth movie in the franchise. However, despite the character meeting a grisly demise inScream, it seems that Arquette would be more than happy to return to the role again in the future, commenting that nothing is ever off limits in this kind of franchise. Although it is true that many movie villains have had a good run for their money after being dispatched multiple times in many different and elaborate ways, it is less often that a victim in a horror film is “born again,” unless it is by a retcon such as in David Gordon Green’s recentHalloweenmovies....

Based on the success of the Zombies episode of the MCU’s first animated offering, this is probably going to be one of the biggest revelations to come out of Disney+ for Marvel fans....

The recent, shockingly surprising news that Jamie Foxx will be reprising the role ofSpider-Manvillain Electro for the upcomingSpider-Man 3has fans wondering (and praying) that this will lead to Charlie Cox’sDaredevilalso being brought into the fray. Following the announcement of Foxx’s involvement,Daredevilfans have taken to social media to plead the case for Matt Murdock’s triumphant return. Evangeline Lilly has provided our first official look at her newWasp suitin honor of what would be Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday. The new picture is the first time that we have seen Lilly in costume on the set of the MCU’sAnt-Man and the Waspout in Atlanta after some on-set pictures leaked of her with costars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas wearing normal street clothing. Lilly has previously teased what the Wasp suit was going to look like by posting pictures of the concept art....

Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, a sequel series set before the events of the iconic 1978 movieGrease, has just picked up an official series order at Paramount+. Hailing from Paramount Television Studios, the 10-episode series was initially set for development at HBO Max before the project fell through. It was picked up for development last fall by Paramount+ but it was just now given its official green light. Per Deadline,Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladieswill explore how Rizzo, Frenchy, Marty, and Jan came together before they became known as the Pink Ladies in their senior year at Rydell High....

Guy Ritchie is reportedly looking to reunite withThe Gentlemenstar Hugh Grant for his next project, the currently untitled action thriller formerly known asFive Eyes, starring macho man Jason Statham andParks and Recreationalumni Aubrey Plaza. While the deal is not yet done, Grant has found much success working with Ritchie in the past, receiving unanimous praise from both critics and audiences alike for his portrayal of the charmingly amoral private investigator, Fletcher in 2019’sThe Gentlemen....
