Marvel Studios officially confirmed at D23 that the previously announced Halloween special set forDisney+wasWerewolf by Night. The title had been rumored since the project was announced in 2021, but the character was officially announced as joining theMCUwith the special set to air on June 16, 2025. In the vast catalog of Marvel characters, Werewolf by Night certainly was not a character many would have likely pegged for live-action treatment anytime soon, and seems almost impossible to imagine happening at the start of the MCU....

It was finally confirmed in April thatGuardians of the GalaxyandGuardians of the Galaxy 2writer-directorJames Gunnwill return forGuardians of the Galaxy 3. The filmmaker has since announced that he’s already started working on the script, although nothing about the story, production schedule or even the release date has been handed out quite yet. One big piece of the puzzle may have been uncovered, though, with the filmmaker tweeting out a seemingly random photo earlier today, which hints that the Marvel Comics character Quasar is part of this story....

The USC School of Cinematic Arts will remove the controversialJohn Wayneexhibit. Wayne attended the university and played football there in the 1920s before becoming a Hollywood superstar. The exhibit was protested late last year by a number of students who found it to be offensive, mainly over the fact that an old Playboy interview with the late actor resurfaced. In the interview, Wayne says, “I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility....

The film, starringKeanu Reeves, only earned $78.7 million worldwide, but it only cost $20 million to make, leading Lionsgate to move forward with a sequel,John Wick 2. Lucasfilm has released an interesting 360 degree clip fromSoloto announce that tickets for the movie have officially gone on sale. Hardcore fans always knew that the tickets were going to go on sale onStar WarsDay, but it’s safe to say that not many saw Lucasfilm releasing the clip where Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian bets the Millennium Falcon in ahigh stakes game of Sabaccwith Alden Ehrenreich’s young Han Solo. The 360 experience makes for some funky audio, but the scene is still pretty cool....

Back in September, producersWalter F. Parkesand Laurie MacDonald revealed that their languishing sequelMen in Black 4will actually reinvent the entire franchise, with plans for a newreboot trilogy. The producers also revealed that original starsWill SmithandTommy Lee Joneswill likely not be back to reprise their roles as Agent J and Agent K, but very little is known about the story at this time. The producers recently spoke withBBC News Beat, where Laurie MacDonald revealed that they are eyeing a “prominent” female character to become a new agent....
