IsRogue Onea good movie? Yes. Is it great? Maybe. And while it comes to, perhaps, the most rousing conclusion of any Star Wars movie to date, it has some big flaws that are hard to overlook. Namely Darth Vader. But we’ll get to that in a minute. While most people won’t bother to read why he’s handled so poorly here, we’ll first admit that he’s fun to watch. And if what he were doing didn’t happen minutes before we see him inStar Wars: A New Hope, it would be some of the best Darth Vader moments we’ve ever witnessed in a movie or TV show....

Between the Marvel and DC movies, as well as the exclusive streaming service content, theaters and small screens are overly occupied by capes and costumes. Heads up,Alienfans as a brand new video game is coming our way, and sooner than expected. Cold Iron Studios has revealed thatAliens: Fireteam Eliteis set to be released this summer on August 24. What’s more, they have revealed a brand new trailer for the video game, which previews the action-packed Xenomorph hunting that is on deck in just a couple of months. TheAlien franchisetrailer opens with some atmospheric shots. A ship hovering above an unidentified planet....

Heroic nomadJack Reacherwill soon return to screens in Amazon’s upcoming series, and this time the character will look a lot more like fans of Lee Child’s books expect. Alan Ritchson will play the iconic literary character in theJack Reacher TV Show, with the actor now revealing the approach that is being taken with adapting the long-running franchise. " I don’t know how much I can say. I’ll say that we’re gonna be doing a book a season, so the first season will be the first book....

Animated features can sometimes have the most unlikely champions. One can look no further thanRoger Ebert’s reviewofBeavis and Butt-Head Do America, where the venerable film critic stated: “To study (Beavis and Butt-Head) is to learn about a culture of narcissism, alienation, functional illiteracy, instant gratification, and television zombiehood. Those who deplore Beavis and Butt-Head are confusing the messengers with the message." Ratatouille,an animated feature about a rat pursuing his dreams of becoming a chef, received acclaim from another respected voice in a particular industry....

TheAvengers: Endgameposter reveals the return of important characters and hints that they might have some key roles to play. Marvel Studios surprised everybody earlier this week with the release of theEndgametrailer along with a truly epic one-sheet, which officially introducesCaptain Marvelto Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as Thanos looks on in the background. Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, and the rest of the crew are featured, but it’s the cast list that provides some extra information that isn’t shown off in the artwork....

While Disney and Scarlett Johansson are busy firing shots at each other regarding her lawsuit over the Disney+ release ofBlack Widow, an unlikely voice has entered the arena in the form ofGuardians of The Galaxystar Dave Bautista. While the talk between Johansson and the House of Mouse has been quite serious, Bautista’s comments on the subject are a little more jovial, as he took to his Twitter account to point out the big mistake that Disney have made that has led to the situation - although his take on it may not be helpful to the case itself....

Previously, it was reported that Chris Pine (Star Trek) would be starring in the big-budget adaptation of the popular fantasy game. Now, it’s been announced that Pine will be joined byMichelle Rodriguez(Fast & Furiousfranchise) and Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu) with the three playing undisclosed roles. Plot details haven’t been revealed for theDungeons & Dragonsmovie, and there’s no word yet on who the cast members will be playing....
