The comedic icon has always had a fiery temper, and it may have recently gotten the better of him after he allegedly assaulted a famed photographer in a Martha’s Vineyard restaurant. The victim is 71-year-old Peter Simon, who is a well-respected and award-winning photographer, not a member of the paparazzi crowd. Murray apparently did not know this. Peter is the brother of iconic singer Carly Simon, and the siblings grew up on Martha’s Vineyard, and are considered island royalty....

The upcoming live-action cinematic reboot of theMortal Kombatgaming series is hoping to set itself apart with a serious, grounded take on the franchise’s mythology. One way that the film will do so is with the introduction of a new main character, Cole Young, played by Lewis Tan, an MMA fighter who becomes unwittingly involved in the ancient, interdimensional fighting tournament. Crunchyroll (Spy x Family) has announced the official English dub voice cast forChainsaw Man, the highly anticipated anime series produced by MAPPA (Maruyama Animation Produce Project Association, which will premiere on Crunchyroll simulcast from Japan on Tuesday, October 11th to over 200 countries and territories around the world. Dave Chappelle is bringing his blistering brand of comedy to Netflix, the world’s leading Internet TV network, with three all-newstand-up specials. Chappelle and director Stan Lathan will produce an original stand-up comedy special exclusively for Netflix, with itspremiere dateto be announced. Two additional never-before-seen specials come directly from Chappelle’s personal comedy vault. Directed by Lathan and filmed at Austin City Limits and The Hollywood Palladium, these represent Chappelle’s first concert specials in 12 years and are slated to be released simultaneously in 2017....

2020 has been brutal on theWalt Disney Company. They reported losses of nearly $5 billion last quarter alone. Revenues fell 40% to $11.7 billion, “while diluted earnings per share for the quarter decreased 94% to 8 cents, falling from $1.34 in the prior-year period.” This is all due to the current public health crisis, which has been wreaking havoc across the world since the beginning of this year. Disney theme parks shut down in March, and have slowly started to open their doors again....
