British network Channel 4’sIt’s a Sinwas huge at the time of its release, taking the world by storm after it was released both in the UK and internationally through streaming service HBO Max. There hasn’t been any information about the new season of FX’sAmerican Horror Storyin several months, but series creator Ryan Murphy dropped a surprise announcement today, confirming Season 8 will in fact be the crossover season between the first (Murder House) and third (Coven) seasons. Ryan Murphy confirmed the crossover season on Halloween 2016, stating that it wouldn’t happen in Season 7, but that it was being planned, and now it has been confirmed for Season 8....

The little ones are getting a new children’s show inBatwheels, a new animated preschool series in the works at Warner Bros. Animation. Starring a sentient version of the Batmobile, the series will feature some of the most popular vehicles from the DC universe as they fight crime alongside Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and the other superheroes of Gotham City. Millennium Films has decided that they will continue to work onRed Sonjawith Bryan Singer. Just this week, the director had four more men come forward with allegations of sexual assault that occurred in the late 1990s when they were all minors. Singer denies these allegations, along with the several other allegations against him dating back to 1997. Singer was famously fired from the set ofBohemian Rhapsodywith only weeks left to go and retained his directing credit despite alleged erratic behavior....

Flying in with a lot of heart and humor,The LEGO Batman Movie, itself a spin-off ofThe Lego Movie, was one of the highlight films of the past decade. Many who viewed the project felt that it understood who the character of Batman is. Notable aspects were the sound design, which included “pew pew” sounds every time a gun went off, the voice cast, and the humor. A sequel was planned, but unfortunately, will probably never see the light of day....
