Tom Cruise’s latest filmMenahas been in production since late May in Colombia, with Universal Pictures setting a January 6, 2017release date.Deadlinereports that tragedy struck the set last night, as a small plane crashed near the Medellin, Colombia set, claiming the lives of two crew members. A third passenger who was aboard the twin-engine Aerostar plane survived the crash, but none of the victims have been identified.

Sources confirmed toDeadlinethat star Tom Cruise and directorDoug Limanwere not on the plane, since they had both just wrapped a scene when the crash took place. The director is said to be very shaken up over the deaths. The plane was heading to Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin when the crash occurred.
