Coming 15 weeks after Sten first revealed that filming on Neagley had begun, the actress has now taken to Instagram to reveal thatthat’s a wrap on theReacherspin-off. As well as offering an update on the status of production, Sten has also provided some hype for the series, promising fans that it will be “a wild one.”
“That’s a wrap on #Neagley season 1! This story is so so special, folks. I cannot wait for you all to see what we’ve cooked up! I hope you’re ready cause it’s gonna be a wild one.”
‘Reacher’ Season 4 Hailed as “Best Season Yet” as Alan Ritchson Offers New Look at the Action Series
Alan Ritchson took to Instagram to confirm that his “body is ready.”
Given a series order by Amazon back in October last year,Neagleywill see Maria Sten return as Frances Neagley, a secret agent who previously served alongside Jack Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. The rest of the cast includes Greyston Holt (The Night Agent, Riverdale), Jasper Jones (King Ivory), Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Mortal Kombat 2), Matthew Del Negro (Mayor of Kingstown, City on a Hill), and Damon Herriman (Justified, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), withAlan Ritchson now confirmed to cameo in the series.
What Does This Mean for the ‘Neagley’ Release Date?
While it was initially expected thatNeagleywould debut on Prime Video in 2026, with filming now complete, it’s not beyond reason that the spin-off could land on Prime Video before the year is out. Maria Sten has previously offered some insight into whatReacherfans can expect from Neagley’s solo outing, revealing to Collider how excited she is to continue to explore the character and what makes her tick.
“Neagley has a lot going on in her life. She has a history, and she has a life lived. She has some quite severe personal issues of her own that she’s grappling with. We just get to know her better and see her grapple with these issues. For anybody who likes the character, I think it’ll be nice to get to know her a little bit better. And we have rounded up such a great cast for this season of Neagley. I’m just thrilled to get going and sink my teeth in.”
