Earlier today, we reported that Lionsgate CEOJon Feltenheimeris so confident in their newPower Rangersmovie that they want to make upwards of 6 more sequels. Since we still have almost a full year before this movie hits theaters next March, it may be a bit premature to be discussing so many movies right now, especially since Paramount and 20th Century Fox prematurely announced sequels forTerminator GenisysandFantastic Fourthat are now, at best, in limbo. Just hours after that Lionsgate conference call, new photos surfaced from the set, giving us our first look at the Putty Patrollers in their CGI green screen suits, as they take on theRed Ranger(Dacre Montgomery).

The photos came fromYVR Shoots, which reveals an action-packed fight scene in the middle of the street, withDacre Montgomery’s stunt double taking on a number of these Putty Patrollers before they are digitally rendered during post-production. This report also reveals that the Red Ranger fights off these Puttymonstersto come to the aid of his father, who is in the blue pickup truck seen in the photos below. Production is expected to wrap today, and the cast and crew already threw their wrap party on Sunday night.

ThePower Rangerscast includesBecky Gas Yellow Ranger Trini,Ludi Linas Black Ranger Zack,Dacre Montgomeryas Red Ranger Jason,Naomi Scottas Pink Ranger Kimberly, andRJ Cyleras Blue Ranger Billy, who will do battle withElizabeth Banks’Rita Repulsa.
