TheLetterkennyspinoff,Shoresy, continues with its second season, for which a new trailer has now been unveiled. Released courtesy ofHulu, the spinoff once again follows the fan favoriteLetterkennycharacter, Shoresy (Jared Keeso) as he joins the Sudbury Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (aka The NOSHO). Created by and starring Jared Keeso, directed by Jacob Tierney and produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games, the half hour comedy sees the foul-mouthed, chirp-serving, mother-loving, fan favourite character, Shoresy (Keeso), and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (The NOSHO), continue their quest to never lose again.

Joining the stellar lineup this season is Frederick Roy (son of Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy), international pop star Rêve, Catherine St-Laurent (Tu Dors Nicole) and Jordana Lajoie (The Boys). Returning cast starring alongside Keeso are Tasya Teles (The 100) as Nat; Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat (Prey) as Sanguinet; Blair Lamora (Paranormal Nightshift) as Ziigwan; and Keilani Rose (FLIMSY) as Miigwan. Rapper Jonathan-Ismael Diaby stars as Dolo; and former Montréal Canadien, author, and actor Terry Ryan stars as Hitch.
Ryan McDonell (The Crossing) stars as Michaels, Max Bouffard (Letterkenny) is JJ Frankie JJ, and former Kahnawake Condor and MMA fighter Andrew “The Canon” Antsanen returns as Goody. Legendary all-time tough guy Jon “Nasty” Mirasty, former ‘Canes centre Brandon Nolan, and three time Stanley Cup winner, Jordan Nolan star as Jim, Jim, and Jim, respectively, with Listowel’s Keegan Long as Liam, and North Bay’s Bourke Cazabon as Cory.

Featured guest stars also include Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall), Jonathan Torrens (Trailer Park Boys), Jacob Tierney (Letterkenny), Camille Sullivan (Trigger Me), Eliana Jones (Northern Rescue), Kim Cloutier (Letterkenny), Michala Brasseur (Grand Army), as well as social media star and podcaster Lysandre Nadeau.

Shoresy Has a Score of 100% On Rotten Tomatoes
Much like its predecessorLetterkenny, which follows the antics of the residents of Letterkenny, a small rural community in Canada,Shoresyhas been metwith much acclaim from critics. The spinoff currently stands at 100% on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
Sam Stone of CBR praised the first season for feeling like a “natural extension” of the main series saying, “With much of the sameLetterkennycrew developingShoresy, the spinoff feels like a natural extension of the previously established Canadian comedy regarding visuals and vulgar comedy but is still very much its own thing.”
While Dan Fienberg of The Hollywood Reporter assured fans ofLetterkennythat they will find much to enjoy in the spinoff adventures of Shoresy; “Sure, it’s coarse and repetitive, but that’s absolutely what the character’s fans will crave and, as the six-episode season progresses, it finds unexpected ways to turn Shoresy into somebody worthy of sustained attention.”
Shorseyseason two was released on September 29, with the series due to wrap up at the end of the month. Season one is available to stream on Hulu.
