While the rest of the world has to wait until Thursday night to seeStar Wars: The Force Awakens, celebrities and critics alike gathered for the world premiere screening in Hollywood last night. Full reviews won’t be posted until Wednesday, but a slew of actors, filmmakers and online reviewers took to their Twitter accounts to share theirearly reactionswith the fans, which were overwhelmingly positive. Although there were a few slightly negative takes on the most highly-anticipated movie of the year. One thing’s for certain, this premiere event was for the ages.
Actors such asPatton Oswalt,Rainn Wilson,Rob Lowe,Fred Savage,Elizabeth Banks,Dane Cook,Josh GadandEric Stonestreetchimed in with their thoughts on Twitter, while another celebrity even got into the cosplay spirit during the premiere.Joseph Gordon-Levittshowed up to thepremiere, which was held simultaneously at both the El Capitan Theatre and the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, dressed as Yoda.
