A&E’shit reality showStorage Warsdebuted in 2010, following a group of bidders as they travel around southern California to try and win the contents of repossessed storage units. The catch? They only get a quick look at what’s inside the units before placing their bids. The competition between the bidders isn’t always friendly, with the cash-only auctions allowing five minutes or less for guests to look at the items from the unit’s doorway.
With the show in its 15th season as of June 2023and several spin-off showsrunning through the years, there have been several changes to the cast and guests over time. Here’s a guide to theStorage Warscast and some of the most iconic recurring bidders.

Darrell Sheets
As one of the OG cast members ofStorage Wars,Darrell “The Gambler” Sheetsis known for his big bids and even bigger personality. He’s one of the few original characters to be featured in all 15 seasons of the show, with the latest pulling him out of the relaxation of retirement and back into the heat of the auction. Sheets often works with his son Brandon on the show before his departure in Season 9, searching for lucrative items he can sell at his store Show Me Your Junk in Arizona.
Barry Weiss
AnotherStorage WarsOG isBarry “The Collector” Weiss, an eclectic, fun bidder with a wealth of knowledge about antiques. Weiss joined the show in Season 1 and entertained viewers through Season 4 before leaving to make his own spin-off,Barry’d Treasure.
His show ran for eight episodes before being canceled by A&E, starting his nearly seven-year hiatus from the show. Weiss returned toStorage Warsfor the fourteenth season in 2021 and is a key cast member in Season 15 as well.

Ivy Calvin
One of the recurring cast members from the early seasons that worked his way into a regular spot on the show isIvy “The King” Calvin. He first appeared onStorage Warsin Season 3 before joining as a full-time part of the show in Season 5.

Calvin is a serious bidder who doesn’t show up to play games; he’s searching for items he can sell at his resale store, Grandma’s Attic. His poker face and strong demeanor make him a serious competitor for the other bidders, especially when he partners with his son, Ivy Jr., to make deals. Calvin’s currently featured in Season 15 episodes and keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with his calculated bids.
Dave Hester
One of the most well-known cast members ofStorage WarsisDave “The Mogul” Hester, who showcased his bold personality and signature catchphrase, “Yuup.” Hester starred in Seasons 1 through 3 before disappearing from the show’s fourth season.
He had becomea fan favorite, leaving many wondering what happened to Dave Hester. It was later released that he was fired after he filed a lawsuit against the network with claims of the show being scripted. Surprisingly, he returned for Season 5 and starred on the show through Season 12.

Rene Nezhoda
Rene Nezhodafirst appeared onStorage Warsin Season 4 with his wife as “The Bargain Hunters.” Originally from Germany, Nezhoda is an experienced buyer with an impressive knowledge of reselling techniques. He became a permanent member of the cast in Season 5, gaining a loyal fan base for his sense of humor and love of poker.
Jarrod Schulz
Another well-known, fan-favorite cast member isJarrod “The Young Guns” Schulz. He appeared alongside his former partner, Brandi, to try and make a profit off of buying units. Schulz started in Season 1 and even had his own spin-off,Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job, that ran for three seasons.
Jarrod leftStorage Warsin Season 13, stating he wanted to pursue other business ventures. However, it was later revealed that he was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence battery against Brandi, which may have played a role in his departure from the show.

Brandi Passante
Brandi Passanteand her former-partner Jarrod Schulz were popular members of theStorage Warscast, appearing on the show together for 13 seasons and gaining their spin-off in 2014. While Schulz did not return for Seasons 14 or 15, Brandi has remained a key cast member through the newest episodes.
Brandon Sheets
Brandon “The Sidebet” Sheetsappearedalongside his father, Darrell, for nine seasons ofStorage Wars. The show cut ties with Sheets before Season 10 due to budget constraints but does return to work with his dad in the newest season. The duo was one of the most successful on the show in finding high-value units and gaining a dedicated following.
Kenny Crossley
AnotherStorage Warscast member isKenny Crossley. He first started appearing on the show as a partner with Barry Weiss in Season 2 before securing a main spot in Season 10. He’s a former law enforcement professional that brings a unique style and a good sense of humor to the group.
Mary Padian
One of the newer cast members isMary “The Junkster” Padian, who first joined the show in 2014. She is one of the original members of the spin-offStorage Wars: Texasand started appearing on the main show during a trip to California. Padian’s bubbly personality and fun nature were much needed to break up some of the tense scenes, though she ended up leaving before Season 13.
