Despite going up against three wildly different, high-profile projects last weekend, Warner Bros.‘Suicide Squadmanaged to stay on top at the box office for its third straight frame. It seems likely that this reign will come to an end this weekend, but it has still fared quite well, taking in $264.5 million domestically and $313 million internationally for aworldwide box officetotal of $577.5 million from a $175 million budget. As is the case with every movie these days, several scenes that were filmed didn’t make the final cut, and in recent international interviews, the cast of this DC Comics adaptation revealed their favorite scenes that didn’t get past the cutting room floor.

MTVput a new video together from an internationalSuicide Squadpress junket, whereWill Smith(Deadshot) andJay Hernandez(El Diablo) joked that their favorite was the “love scene” between Deadshot and Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), whichWill Smithclaimed was “awkward.“Margot Robbierevealed that she had to learn “a very wicked dance” during the club scene, withCara Delevingnerevealing how good that scene really was. We also hear fromJai Courtney, who shed light on a scene whereKiller Croc(Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) threw him through a “huge stack of plastic containers,” whichKaren Fukuharasaid was “intense.” Here’s whatJared Letohad to say about these scenes that will hopefully “see the light of day” soon.

“We experimented a lot, so there’s a lot of material that will probably see the light of day at some point, I would think. I think we could fill an entire DVD with the amount of deleted scenes. There are a lot of surprises, and, with that, a lot of mistakes, so I think a lot of fun accidents too.”

While there will certainly be plenty of deleted scenes, directorDavid Ayersaid there will be no “director’s cut” because the theatrical version represents his “director’s cut.” There was also a detailed rundown of 22 deleted scenes that were teased in the marketing but ultimately take out of the theatrical cut, which may or may not re-appear on the Blu-ray and DVD release. Take a look at this video below with the stars ofSuicide Squadrevealing their favorite deleted scenes.
