The CW Network has givenearly renewalsto seven of its primetime series for the 2017-2018 season. The announcement was made today during the network’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. Here’s what the network president had to say in a statement below about these renewals.

“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup ofDC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas. Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

The series being ordered for the 2017-2018 season includeArrow(Season 6),Crazy Ex-Girlfriend(Season 3),DC’s Legends of Tomorrow(Season 3),The Flash(Season 4),Jane the Virgin(Season 4),Supergirl(Season 3), andSupernatural(Season 13). Specific premiere dates for each series will be announced at a later time. There are also a number of shows that the network hasn’t renewed yet, but that doesn’t mean that they’re canceled quite yet.

Among the network’s other shows that haven’t been renewed yet arePenn & Teller: Fool Us,No TomorrowandFrequency, the latter two being first-season shows. There are also a number of shows returning in midseason that have yet to be renewed, such asThe 100, the new seriesRiverdale,Reign,The OriginalsandiZombie. The network will likely wait until May during the network’s upfront presentations to announce renewals or cancellations of these remaining shows.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrowmoves to its new night on Tuesday, January 24 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), paired with The CW’s #1 seriesThe Flash(8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). On Thursday, January 26,Supernaturalreturns from its winter hiatus at its new time (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT), followed by the series debut of The CW’s new dramaRiverdale(9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), a surprising and subversive take based on the iconic characters from Archie Comics.The 100is back Wednesday, February 1 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), paired with ARROW (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).Reignreturns for its fourth season Friday, February 10 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). WithThe Vampire Diariesconcluding after eight seasons on Friday, March 10,The Originalswill return on Friday, March 17 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

The season finale ofDC’s Legends of Tomorrowis set for Tuesday, March 28, andiZombiewill make its season three debut with back-to-back new episodes on Tuesday, April 4 (8:00-9:00pm and 9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), before moving to its regularly scheduled time period afterThe Flashon April 11. The season finale ofNo Tomorrowwill air Tuesday, January 17 (9:00-10:00pm ET), with the season finale ofFrequencyset for the following week Wednesday, January 25 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).Crazy Ex-Girlfriendwraps up its second season run on Friday, February 3 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).
