It sounds likeWarner Bros. and DCare taking a page out of the Marvel playbook when it comes to their solo movies. The Avengersstandalone adventures usually feature at least one other member of the team. And the same will probably be true for some of the upcoming DC spinoffs. While we haven’t heard thatSupermanis officially showing up inWonder Woman, that idea has been teased. And we know for sure that Batman is taking a stand againstthe JokerinSuicide Squad. Now we have it on good authority that two more Justice League members are teaming up in one of these side outings.
Producer Deborah Snyder was chatting withForbes, and seemingly confirmed that Cyborg will be showing up inThe Flash. And it sounds like it will be more than just a cameo appearance. She explains as such.

“When we get to the Flash movie, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher - who plays Cyborg - are kind of our youngest characters, and they have a really nice camaraderie with each other. Ezra is super funny, so the tone of that film will be very different than the rest of them.”
In this same quote, Deborah Snyder seemingly confirms that future DC movies will also be breaking their No Jokes rule. Which is probably good news for some fans who thoughtBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicewas a little too dark and dour. Both Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) and Victor Stone (Ray Fisher) will be showing up together in next year’sJustice League Part 1.The Flashthen gets his own movie in the spring of 2018, withAquamancoming later that summer.Cyborgwon’t get his own movie until 2020.
So, it makes since to have Barry and Victor team up early on. While Cyborg has his fans, he’s certainly not the most popular or well known member of theJustice League. A move like this well help establish and familiarize audiences withCyborg. If released today,Cyborgprobably won’t stand a chance at the summer box office.
There is also a rumor brewing thatAquamanhas a rather substantial role to play in next year’sWonder Womanmovie. The Amazons and the underwater kingdom of Atlantis are said to be at war. This is somethingWonder Womansupposedly touches on, and will be further explored inJustice League Part 1. What do you think? Are you excited to see Barry and Victor team up inThe Flash? Or does it not make much sense yet?
