TheVillains of Valley Vieware officially back, and they’re back with a punch! On June 15th, Disney Channel’s original sitcom premiered its second season, setting the stage for what’s to come! Movieweb representatives got to sit down with a special screening of the new episode, which is packed with plenty of hijinks and introduces a brand-new villain.

The new season ofThe Villains of Valley Viewstarts off their second season picking up where they left off at the finale. Havoc is called upon to become the new leader of the League of Villains, per the villain creed. The family is mostly against it, but Amy thinks she can handle such responsibilities. Meanwhile, parents Vic and Lucy attend parent/teacher night with Colby, leading to several hijinks involving a special remote. It turns out Vic thinks that his youngest son needs to learn to control his shapeshifting powers, and thus programs a special remote that can turn them on and off. But when the remote gets left at home and mistaken for a TV remote by the landlady, things get a little crazy at school. After an incident involving a monster on the loose and almost revealing the family secret, Amy decides that maybe she’s not ready for the role of League of Villains leader yet. But then the villain Shadow appears (Dora Dolphin), she reveals her true motivations. She is the daughter of the former League of Villains leader, Onyx, and is out for revenge! The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Amy’s fate unknown! Check out a trailer for the season below.

The Villains of Valley Viewis a Disney Channel sitcom that premiered in June 2022. We follow the Madden family, who are hiding a big secret. They’re a family of supervillains! When Havoc, the daughter of the family, attacks the leader of the League of Villains, they’re forced to go into hiding disguised as a normal family. Playing the Madden family are Isabella Pappas (Finding Alice) as Amy/Havoc, Malachi Barton (Fancy Nancy) as little brother Colby/Flashform, Reed Horstmann (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia) as Jake/Chaos, James Patrick Stuart (Kingdom Hearts II)as Vic/Kraniac, andLucy Davis(The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as Eva/Surge. Kayden Muller-Janssen plays the role of Hartley, the granddaughter of the Madden family’s landlord (Patricia Belcher), best friend of Amy, and the only citizen so far that knows the Madden family secret. The series follows the Madden family as they attempt to maintain their “normal” lives, which is a lot harder than it looks. Especially when superhero conventions, rival superheroes, crazy inventions, and other mishaps get in the way.
The series was created by Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore, both co-creators of Disney’sLab Rats. Midway through the first season, Disney announced that the show was renewed for a second season. The first season is currently available for streaming onDisney+.
